About Lifelong Learning

The LLP Crew :

Mary Del Casale
I'm a multi-talented personality. I define myself as a facilitator, motivator, writer, foodie and global explorer. I love colour and creativity and anything that is 'out of the box' thinking. I always thought that if I wrote an autobiography it would have to be called "a passionate life" because living life to the full, is definitely my mantra.

This passion and energy, which comes quite naturally for me as an extrovert and intuitive, has worked well, in my work as an organisational development consultant, process facilitator and coach. I love to encourage people to tell me their stories and also their aspirations, and to work with them to bring some of their desires and wishes to life.

I am committed to assisting people to identify their passions and link their work more closely to their life purpose. I am particularly interested in redefining work and workplaces, to more closely support human life. Because of this, I believe in balancing life and work as well as establishing life goals that reflect the whole person, rather than simply their role at work.

I am conscious of the need to practice what I preach by "walking the talk" and in this way can share my personal experiences of discovery, when working with others.

Since 2004 I have been in the process of re-inventing myself with a commitment to living the second half of my life, differently to the first. We only get one go and I want to make sure I honour the life journey. I have moved into facilitating stakeholder and community engagement, where mutual ground has to be found, in order to create new places and processes.

I find the work challenging and powerful, particularly with respect to finding ways to have people share their values and opinions, in order to understand other ideas and perspectives. I am able to design workshops and forums that allow that sharing to occur, within a safe environment. I am committed to assisting individuals and workplaces to celebrate their achievements and to find solutions for their "challenges in progress". I am definitely an optimist and so am able to reframe situations into the positive, in order to build strategies for success.

Talent and Capability Statement:

I hold a Social Work (Social Science) Degree and am an accredited trainer. I have worked as a process facilitator for over 20 years in the community, private and public sectors.

My expertise lies in building strong networks, facilitating and motivating individuals and teams, and in finding creative solutions for business and living.
