360 Degree Feedback

360 Degree Feedback

You see yourself one way, but how do others in your workplace see you? Do you think you are Snow White or Prince Charming? What do your people think? Do they see you in the same light, or as the Wicked Witch of the West or the Lord of Darkness?

360-Degree Feedback is an invaluable tool for gaining a true sense of self. It is a tool for growth, offering participants the ability to gain awareness and understanding of how their behaviours affect others, and the path towards changing some of those behaviours.

'Every individual has the capacity for growth.'

The 360-degree feedback tool has 3 levels of participation:
  1. Provider

This level is for organisations who have multiple clients (internal and external) that may wish to administer the 360 tool to multiple participants around multiple assessments.

This level gives providers 'back-end' access to the tool for creating assessments, developing and building questionnaires and customising the rating scale of the tool to suit specific requirements.

Providers undertake all the administrative functions, such as adding and deleting clients, allocating co-ordinator status, adding and deleting assessments and notification of assessment complete.

  2. Client

This level is for organisations who wish to administer multiple assessments for multiple internal clients.

This level gives clients access to 'back-end' administrative functions for creating assessments, developing and building questionnaires and customising the rating scale of the tool to suit specific requirements.

Clients undertake all the administrative functions, such as adding and deleting clients, allocating co-ordinator status, adding and deleting assessments and notification of assessment complete.

  3. Participant

This level is for organisations who wish to administer standard assessments to their internal clients.

Administrative functions and notifications are undertaken by the Lifelong Learning team.

Lifelong Learning Press offers the 360-degree feedback tool online.

The system requires a self-assessment, a manager assessment, multiple peer and multiple direct reports.

One of the many administrative functions is the ability to determine the number of peers and direct-reports required before the tool will score and report.

The report collates the mean score of the assessment under each of the identified characteristics. The score is represented by a line, each line a different colour denoting self, manager, peers and direct reports.
