Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Step II Workshop

Aim of session:

 
To introduce participants to their personality type as a foundation for learning about self and for creating awareness about own leadership and management styles.

2.

Modelling High Standards of Leadership Performance

Aim of session:

 
To introduce participants to the characteristics and insights of transformational leadership. Transformational leadership is about knowing who you are, what you think, what you feel, and what you value. This style of leadership creates an authentic workplace. Those that will 'walk their talk'.
 
To explore notional differences between the characteristics and role of a manager to that of a leader and decide what type do we want and require within our organisation today.

3.

Ensuring a Safe Workplace! Occupational Safety & Health Legislation - Review and Gap Analysis

Aim of session:

 
To carry out a review of relevant Occupational Safety and Health Legislation and undertake activities to highlight gaps in the organisation's understanding and implementation of the Act/s.
 
To identify possible strategies for actions to meet identified gaps.

4.

Safety Snakes & Ladders

Aim of session:

 
To give participants an opportunity to experience "assumptions" that can be made in the workplace relating to areas such as safety where complacency can kick in.
 
To energise the group, through a change of pace in proceedings - referred to as a jolt.
