Effective relationships are those that:
 
  • Are open and honest in dealings with others
  • Have the ability to resolve conflict constructively
  • Use assertive language
  • Are tolerant of diverse views and cultures
  • Are involved in social activities of the organisation
  • Have the ability to communicate with people
  • Have a high level of self-esteem
  • Are happy and satisfied at work
  • Have commitment to the organisation
  • Have the ability to get along well with people
  • Are motivated to always turn up at work and do the best possible job
  • Are built on Emotional Intelligence
 
On a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 is poor and 5 is excellent, mark yourself against each of the statements listed in terms of how well you engage in creating effective relationships.
