Communication

Assertive Communications

Duration: 1 day

"Assertive communication means
being able to ask for something when you want to,
and also to say no when you wish to"

In assertive communication, you and your listener are in a win-win situation. You're able to say what you truly mean; the listener is able to listen and receive your message. When it's your turn to listen, you're capable of receiving an honest message clearly delivered by the speaker. Even if there is disagreement between you, you both know each is truly being heard. You both feel free to say what's really on your mind.
