Information about best practice, world wide trends and being clear about the purpose of engagement.
Planning for engagement
A focus on planning processes from clarifying the problem through to evaluation and decision making phases.
Tools and techniques
Case studies, models and approaches to working with community and stakeholder groups.
Facilitation skills
Understand the nature of groups including distinguishing between process and content in order to facilitate groups effectively.
Relationship building and conflict resolution
The role of relationship building in creating sustainable solutions including managing and working through conflict towards mutual benefit. |
