Leadership 101

Duration: 1 Day
 
This workshop provides a sound basis for identifying the capability required by a front-line leader.  It looks at the roles of a leader and explores the notion of 'walking the talk', characteristics of effective communication, problem solving and decision making.  A great introduction for anybody seeking to enter a leadership role or those in a first-time leadership role.
 
Course Objectives:
 
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the (3) key roles of a leader: (a) leadership; (b) information broker and (c) operator
  • Demonstrate an ability to model high standards of management performance
  • Describe ways to enhance the organisation’s image
  • Allocate responsibilities to individuals / teams positively
  • List the steps involved in making informed decisions
