Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)®
- a foundation for learning about self

Duration: 1 Day

This is a highly interactive experiential workshop using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). The MBTI Step I is a self report questionnaire designed to make Jung’s theory of psychological types understandable and useful in everyday life. MBTI results identify valuable differences between normal, healthy people, differences that can be the source of much misunderstanding and miscommunication.

It provides a framework to understand human behaviour. The indicator is based on the work of Carl G. Jung who developed a framework to describe characteristics related to people’s preferences from which he determined that behaviour is predictable. Katharine Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers worked with Jung’s theory and developed an instrument to sort people according to the preferences described by Jung. MBTI has more than 45 years research behind it. It is a widely used and accepted tool in many areas for determining psychological type.
