The Lifelong Learning Coaching philosophy is based on the Harvard Business School model of Coaching for Results with a bit of tweaking to provide context for clients by incorporating and blurring the boundaries between mentoring, coaching and on-the-job training.  In fact, I am keen to steer away from labelling sessions where we work together either one-on-one or in groups as anything other than spending time together to explore life, work and relationships. I would prefer to blur the boundaries between facilitation, coaching, mentoring, therapy and analysis (all labels) and simply let the session unfold at the pace at which you would like this to happen.
 
I am happy to be called your coach as I am equally happy to simply be a fellow human being with a capacity to listen, explore life and collaboratively find meaning in an environment that is safe and respectful.
 
I don’t subscribe to any one particular point of view in terms of classic and contemporary theorists, philosophers and writers but feel the more you expose yourself to many points of view, the bigger perspective you gain, and the better equipped you are to deal with any and many situations. Perhaps the one construct I do support and feel is good to explore in terms of personal and professional growth is the notion of creating congruency between the inner self and outer self to fully realise your human potential and capability.
 
My view of life and the universe is quite simple “find your authentic self, and have no attachment to any outcome.”
 
The Lifelong Learning coaching philosophy complements other learning events such as leadership and executive development or it can stand-alone to provide developmental assistance to individuals at any stage within their careers.
 
The role of these sessions is to challenge your current beliefs, stimulate your thinking, enable you to learn and help you grow; all within the context of your environment and working toward identified and set goals.
